Difference between PT and PT4 Key | Ask the Experts

Question:

In a master key system where A is the master, what would AC1 designate in that master key system?

Answer:

In this particular master key system AC1 would be a change key under the master key AC. AC designates the master under the grand master A. Being this is AC means there is also a master AA, AB, and AC in this system. The 1 in the number designates the change key in the system 1 being the 1st change key under master AC. The change key in the system could be a key for someone’s office, utility closet, class room, bathroom ,or anywhere you want to issue a key in the key system under master AC.
