Electric strikes are the bread and butter to an electronic access control system and 2017 had no shortage in developments and new products. Here’s an end-of-the-year list of a wide variety of electric strikes that are either new to the industry or have had some updates.

HES 7000 and 7501 Series Electric Strikes

ROFU 1509 Series Electric Strikes
The ROFU 1509 Series are an adaptable electric strike for cylindrical and mortise locks in new or retrofitting jobs. Applications for the ROFU 1509 Series Electric Strike include commercial and residential uses in Property Management and Multi-Family Housing.



RCI VR165 Vertical Rod Strike
The RCI VR165 Vertical Rod Strike is designed to be used with vertical rod exit devices with a roller latch. Th RCI VR165 is a surface mounted strike made of high grade stainless steel and includes door stop adjustment for different rail thicknesses and a horizontal solenoid  to prevent manipulation from vibration.


Von Duprin 5100 Series Electric Strike
The Von Duprin 5100 Series Electric Strike is designed as an easy-to-install electric door strike for medium-duty applications. The 5100 Series electric strike is versatile for field conversions being compatible to a wide variety of cylindrical locksets and deadlatch devices.


Adams Rite 74R Series UltraLine Electric Strike
The Adams Rite 74R Series UltraLine Electric Strike is an adaptable & compact semi-mortised electric strike designed for standard (74R1) or narrow style (74R2) rim exit devices with 3/4” (74R1) or 1/2” (74R2) Pullman type latchbolt.
