Dual Credential Explanation | Ask the Experts
Question:
I see a term written on credential cards that says “Dual Credential”. What does that mean?

Answer:
A dual credential card means that the “card” holds two different means of authentication, such as Mag stripe and Prox. It could be Prox and RFID as well or Prox and Smart card technology.
