Sometimes there are two products that are so similar that it’s important to distinguish the differences between them. In this series we’ll be focusing on two touchless entry switch products:
- Camden Door Controls’ CM-324 Sure-Wave™ Hands Free Switch
- BEA’s MS08 Magic Switch
Both are similar electronic access control products used primarily as hospital security solutions. Each has its particular features as a barrier-free, touchless door switch. Hopefully, by the end of this series we’ll be able to help weigh these product’s similarities and differences.
Camden’s CM-324 Hands Free Switch or Sure-Wave™ is a hands free solution for operating doors in hospitals, restrooms and clean rooms. The Sure-Wave™ is best suited for any place where sanitation should be encouraged and ADA accessibility is a concern. Added perks to the Camden CM-324 include an active infrared sensor that can be adjusted to limit the sensor’s range of activity and a wider, more adjustable operating range (3-26″).
