Question:
We have a client that is/was using Keri’s Door32 on a computer with a Windows ’98 OS. They have over 400 cards out on their system and would like to put it on a new PC with Windows 10 OS. Your recommendations?
Answer:
First assumption is that the controllers are PXL500’s and are older than May of 2012. You can do the upgrades fairly easily as their website offers a lot of info on this topic, but you will need to upgrade to DNET software. Add the DNET conversion of the existing database for the PXL500’s. Then, do a chip upgrade of the PXL firmware. And lastly an upgrade license for the controllers. All for less than $2000.00 list.
